That said, you should be able to Reset the iPad simply by powering it off, then on again.
So if your work computer is a Windows 7 machine, but the iPad requires a later version of iTunes than a Windows 7 machine can use, then you can't manage the iPad using that old version of iTunes. However, I suspect that the Microsoft store version cannot be installed on Windows 7 machines. If the Help menu does not have a Check for Updates option (which - from what you've told us, I believe is unlikely) then you have the Microsoft Store version, which updates automatically. That suggests that your work computer is actually Windows 7 because the latest version of iTunes (on the day of writing this) is 12.12.9.4 (as you can see from the screenshot). If there is (and you use) the Check for Updates option on the Help menu:īut you then see a message telling you that This version of iTunes (12.10.11) is the current version:
ITunes 12.10.11.2 is the last (and most recent) version of iTunes that can be installed on Windows 7 (or Windows 8) PCs.
